The China-Japan Industry Cooperation Forum, organized by the CCPIT and Japan Association for the Promotion of International Trade (JAPIT), was held in Beijing on the afternoon of April 11. More than 200 corporate representatives from both countries in the field of manufacturing, finance, logistics and e-commerce were present at the forum. Mr. Yin Zonghua, vice chairman of the CCPIT and Mr. Kasakai, director general of the JAPIT delivered keynote speeches at the forum. Representatives and experts from the Development & Research Center of State Council, the governments of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei introduced China’s 13th“Five-year plan” and the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
In his keynote speech, Mr. Yin said that the trade cooperation between China and Japan has a bright prospect. It is hoped that Japanese entrepreneurs could grasp the opportunities provided by China’s 13th “Five-Year Plan”, and get involved into the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Japanese companies shall work with their Chinese counterparts in the realm of information technology, energy saving and environmental protection, bio-technology, high-end manufacturing, new energy, new material, medical health and pension industry, to achieve mutual benefits and growth.
Mr. Kasakai said that the Chinese economy has achieved tremendous growth in recent years, and China is playing a more influential role in the world economy. China’s 13th “Five-Year Plan” has attracted world attention and one of the plan’s shining points is the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Japanese companies are paying high attention to China’s economic development and the “Five-Year Plan”, and willing to cooperate with Chinese companies in relevant fields.
