On January 16, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued the Announcement No. 2021/1, in response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers, to initiate the second sunset review of safeguard measures and the investigation of imported wallpaper and similar wallpaper (Turkish: alçak yoğunluk polietilen). The Turkish tax codes of the products involved are 4814.20.00.00.00, 4814.90.10.00.00 and 4814.90.70.10.00. Except for another extension (up to 6 months), it is expected that the final ruling will be made within 9 months.
Stakeholders can download the questionnaire from the Turkish Ministry of Trade website ( http://www.ticaret.gov.tr ) and submit the questionnaire within 30 days of the announcement.
