    According to the report, the CSIA issued a statement on its website that the working group aims to promote "a deeper level of mutual understanding and trust" between the semiconductor industries of China and the United States, and solve problems through dialogue and cooperation. The American Semiconductor Industry Association, headquartered in Washington, has not announced the establishment of a joint working group.

    CSIA said in a statement that the two parties will each appoint 10 semiconductor member companies to participate in the working group, and plan to hold two meetings a year to share the latest developments in technology and trade restriction policies between the two countries and discuss corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
