From the BSI index of specific manufacturing industries, the machinery and equipment manufacturing industry droped sharply by 10 percentage points due to the slowdown in the demand of downstream industries such as construction; The automobile and electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industries decreased by 8 percentage points and 3 percentage points respectively.
