The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize representative companies to participate in the exhibition. 16 Russian federal subjects will also organize companies to participate in the exhibition, focusing on displaying Russia's social and economic development investment opportunities and cooperation projects. Extensive exchanges and negotiations will be carried out with all walks of life in China on superior products and distinctive humanities.Chen Shijun, President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the total exhibition area is 388,000 square meters, with the main venue of the Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center and four branch venues.
The main venue has five exhibition areas: Russia, International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, cooperation between provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and central enterprises, Longjiang revitalization, high-end equipment and machinery manufacturing and supporting services. It is expected to exhibit more than 5,000 products in 10 fields, more than 20 categories.Zhejiang Province serves as the guest province of China, Moscow serves as the guest city of Russia, and Harbin serves as the theme city of this expo.It is expected that more than 120 Chinese and foreign delegations from 44 countries and regions will participate in the conference, with more than 5,000 registered international and professional merchants from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and more than 2,000 state-owned enterprises, leading private enterprises, cross-border e-commerce chain institutions and other types of enterprises. The person in charge of the business entity will participate in the docking and discuss cooperation.Dakhnovsky, the Russian commercial representative in China, said that the 4th Russia-China Local Cooperation Forum is a key event during the expo and will be held on May 17.Russia has 25 state and district delegations confirmed to attend the event, of which 17 state and district chief executives will attend.In recent years, the scale of Sino-Russian trade has continued to expand, and the commodity structure has been continuously optimized.In 2023, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia will reach 240.1 billion U.S. dollars, reaching the trade target of 200 billion U.S. dollars ahead of schedule.In the first quarter of this year, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia was US$56.68 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, and continued to maintain a good momentum of development.
