The Mexico Promotion Conference of the Second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Chain Expo"), hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Representative Office in Mexico, was held in Mexico City on the 15th. Chinese and Mexican guests at the conference said that the two countries should deepen cooperation in the field of supply chain to strengthen economic complementarity. In his video speech, Zhang Shaogang, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, pointed out that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade founded the world's first national-level exhibition with the theme of supply chain, and built an international platform for all stakeholders to strengthen communication, deepen cooperation and seek common development. The Chain Expo is not a single exhibition platform, but a comprehensive platform that reflects the development trend of the industrial chain and the cooperation trend of the supply chain.

More than 60 business people from China and Mexico attended the promotion meeting. In addition, the Mexican Council of Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology Enterprises, the Mexican China Business and Technology Chamber of Commerce and the China International Exhibition Group Corporation, the organizer of the Chain Expo, signed a memorandum of cooperation. The second Chain Expo will be held in Beijing from November 26 to 30, 2024, with advanced manufacturing chain, smart car chain, green agriculture chain, clean energy chain, digital technology chain, healthy life chain and supply chain service exhibition areas. At present, more than 400 Chinese and foreign companies have confirmed their participation.
