Zheng Zhanjie said that China and Vietnam are socialist friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. The National Development and Reform Commission of China actively implements the consensus of leaders of the two parties and two countries, attaches great importance to strengthening the interconnection of cross-border standard-gauge railways with Vietnam. It has previously carried out a lot of work with Vietnam's counterpart departments.
We hope that the two sides will maintain communication and docking and carry out the preliminary work of the project in a solid manner on the premise of ensuring quality. China has advanced technology and rich experience in railway infrastructure construction and is willing to provide support and assistance to Vietnam.
