On May 31, the 2021 15th China Time-honored Brand Expo closed at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

As one of the key events of the National Consumption Promotion Month "Time-honored Carnival" and the second "Five-five Shopping Festival" in Shanghai, this year's expo brings together seleced brands from all over the world. 242 time-honored enterprises from 12 provinces and cities gathered in Shanghai, with as many as 402 exhibiting brands, which doubled the previous year. Goods from the national tide appeared in a concentrated manner.

This year's expo has five exhibition areas including time-honored Shanghai Goods, Time-honored Manufacturing Goods, Yangtze River Delta Interaction, National Time-honored Brands, and Time-honored Consumer Assistance. The time-honored brands of Hubei Province were registered in the Time-honored Brand Expo for the first time, bringing Jingchu delicacies to consumers. In the time-honored consumer assistance display area, 95 brands from 13 prefectures in Yunnan Province and Kashgar in Xinjiang bring unique western flavors.

Some time-honored brands have strengthened their brands' exploration of new marketing models such as IP co-branding and cross-industry cooperation. Time-honored brands such as Bright Food Group, Lao Fengxiang, Huili, 900 Group, Yuyuan Co., Ltd., and Bailian brought their innovative and trendy products to market, attracting young consumers.

This year’s expo also cooperated with Baidu to create the "Time-honored Brand · New Country Tide" event, focusing on the dimensions of "humanities + technology + trend", with "knowledge + technology" as the keynote, and "online live broadcast + offline exploration exhibition". The combined form uses temperature to convey the story of the time-honored Guochao brand.

Zong Ming, the deputy mayor of Shanghai, emphasized that Shanghai time-honored brands, as a representative of Shanghai manufacturing brands, must work closely with the Shanghai shopping platform to promote mutual diversion, so that Shanghai manufacturing can be seen and bought, and Shanghai shopping has its own characteristics and heritage.
