Opening of the first Xiamen International cross-border e-commerce industry exhibition

On November 11, the first "Xiamen International cross-border e-commerce industry exhibition" was opened in Xiamen International Exhibition Center, which will continue until 13 days.

The exhibition is themed by "cross-border interconnection and cargo communication global". The exhibition covers an area of over 30000 square meters, bringing together more than 600 high-quality foreign trade suppliers, 150 service providers and 30 mainstream platforms of cross-border e-commerce from Fujian, Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces, involving the whole industry chain of cross-border e-commerce. More than 300 cross-border categories have been exhibited, filling the gap of multiple cross-border e-commerce selection exhibitions, providing a rare docking event for more than 50000 core cross-border sellers and high-quality suppliers.

In recent years, the import and export volume of Xiamen cross-border e-commerce has continued to increase significantly, accounting for more than 20% of the total foreign trade. In 2020, Xiamen cross-border e-commerce retail import and export amounted to 2.556 billion yuan, an increase of more than 4 times year-on-year. According to incomplete statistics, Xiamen currently has more than 5000 enterprises engaged in cross-border e-commerce, which is the region with the largest number of cross-border e-commerce sellers in Fujian Province.
