Detailed information
ENERZIP E Series Biogas Generator Sets are affordable farm-scale biogas generator sets powered by ENERZIP proprietary engines based on a proven Ricardo agricultural engine platform. This series is designed for small and medium biogas projects wher simple structure, low investment cost, and easy local maintenance are more important than complex grid-parallel functions.

The E Series covers a practical power range from 20 kVA to 250 kVA and is suitable for livestock farms, rural cooperatives, small food processing facilities, small landfill sites, leachate treatment stations, and decentralized rural power projects. It is a good choice for customers who want to convert farm waste or organic wastewater into useful on-site electricity without investing in a heavy industrial biogas power plant.

This series is built for real farm conditions. Small biogas projects often fail because the equipment is too expensive, too complicated, or difficult to maintain locally. The E Series is designed to solve this problem by using a simple agricultural engine structure, mechanical serviceability, and practical biogas adaptation.

The engine platform is based on ENERZIP proprietary engines developed from a Ricardo-style agricultural engine architecture. It uses a heavy cast-iron structure, wet cylinder liner design, and straightforward mechanical layout. This makes the engine easier to service by local technicians and more suitable for rural environments wher advanced diagnostic tools may not be available.

The E Series is adapted for low-calorific agricultural biogas. Farm biogas quality can change from day to day depending on manure type, digester temperature, gas storage condition, and biological activity. The generator can be configured with spark ignition and a venturi-type gas mixer to support stable operation under variable gas conditions.

Compared with large industrial biogas generators, the E Series focuses more on low CAPEX, easy maintenance, and practical power output. It is not mainly intended for large grid-connected power plants or advanced CHP projects. Instead, it is designed for farms and rural users who need a repairable and economical biogas generator for daily power use.

For the alternator system, ENERZIP can configure brushless alternators with copper windings and suitable insulation for farm environments. The generator can supply power for common agricultural loads such as ventilation fans, feeding equipment, lighting, water pumps, small motors, and basic workshop loads. For motor loads, starting current should be checked carefully before model selecion.

The E Series can be equipped with practical digital controllers such as SmartGen or Datakom. Standard functions can include voltage and frequency monitoring, oil pressure protection, coolant temperature protection, overspeed protection, fault alarms, and automatic shutdown. For projects with a gas holder, automatic start and stop can be configured according to gas pressure or gas level signals.

Cooling is designed for rural working conditions. Agricultural sites may have dust, feathers, organic debris, high temperature, and limited maintenance resources. The E Series can be configured with an oversized radiator package and accessible cooling layout, making manual cleaning and routine maintenance easier.

Gas safety configuration is also important. The E Series can be supplied with basic gas train components such as manual shut-off valve, solenoid valve, and zero-pressure regulator. This helps control gas supply and reduce safety risks during operation. For higher H2S or moisture levels, proper gas treatment is recommended before the generator.

Typical applications include pig farms, poultry farms, small dairy farms, rural cooperatives, tofu workshops, starch factories, micro-distilleries, cassava processing plants, small food wastewater treatment projects, village microgrids, and small landfill or leachate treatment sites.

The E Series is best suited for customers who need a practical small biogas generator with simple maintenance and low upfront cost. If the project requires long-term baseload operation, grid synchronization, CHP heat recovery, or larger power capacity, the ENERZIP C Series Biogas Generator Sets would usually be more suitable.
