International parcels will be disinfected at the airport, port and customs before entering the delivery channel. After entering the delivery channel, EMS operators are required to strictly implement the responsibility system of disinfection at the first station, and disinfect all sides of the parcel one by one, as well as the large package and shipping container. The parcels should be disinfected once again they reach the terminal delivery outlets.

A standing period is required at the same time for international parcels. During the standing period, postal express enterprises can carry out internal production operations, retention and placement and domestic transshipment, but cannot deliver the parcels to the recipients. The standing period can greatly increase the security of the international parcels.

During the special period of epidemic, when delivering international parcels, deliverymen will remind recipients to wear masks, gloves and other protective articles when receiving and opening international parcels by pasting tips on the outer package, properly handle express packaging materials, disinfect internal items, wash hand in time, and use them safely.
