From June 23 to 25, Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Bangladesh.
He met with Bangladeshi President Chup, Awami League Chairman and Prime Minister Hasina, Awami League Joint Secretary General and Foreign Minister Mahmud, and held talks with people from all walks of life in Bangladesh. He also attended the "Silk Road Heart to Heart"-China-Bangladesh "Healthy Children" People's Livelihood Donation Activity.
Liu Jianchao also inspected projects such as the Padma Bridge and visited the Memorial Hall of Bangladesh's founding father Rahman. Both sides expressed that they will jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, carry forward traditional friendship, strengthen inter-party exchanges, align development strategies, jointly build the "Belt and Road" with high quality, and promote the China-Bangladesh strategic partnership to a new level.
