Recently, the Sino-Kazakhstan Joint Laboratory of Biosafety in Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Sino-Kazakh Joint Laboratory) of Kazakh University of Agricultural Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Sino-Kazakh Joint Laboratory) was awarded the laboratory accreditation certificate of the National Accreditation Committee of Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
It accredited that the Sino-Kazakh Joint Laboratory complies with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 "General Requirements for Detection and Calibration Laboratory Capacity" and has the ability to undertake antibody detection of avian influenza, Newcastle Disease, and brucellosis. The Sino-Kazakh Joint Laboratory was jointly built by the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Ssaifulin Kazakh Agricultural Technology Research University. It is located in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. It was officially launched in 2018.
This recognition is the first time that a testing agency in Central Asia has submitted an application for testing capability recognition to China. The Sino-Kazakhstan Joint Laboratory has become the first international mutual recognition standardized testing agency in the field of veterinary medicine that is recognized by my country overseas. Through this recognition, the operating capabilities of the standardization laboratory of the China-Kazakhstan Joint Laboratory have been further improved, which has effectively promoted the going out of Chinese standards, promoted the construction of high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" joint laboratory, and further played the role of the joint laboratory as a link in China-Kazakhstan scientific and technological cooperation and trade ties.
