Smart manufacturing and cutting-edge technology have highlighted the fourth China-Japan-Korea Industries Expo held in Weifang, Shandong Province.
The Expo was jointly hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), The Association for the Promotion of International Trade, Japan (JAPIT), Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and China-Japan-ROK Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat.
The expo included three exhibitions, three forums and seven B2B match-making meetings. Covering an area of 40,000 square meters, this expo mainly focused on smart manufacturing, food and industries of China, Japan and South Korea. Robot technology from Japan’s renowned enterprises such as Panasonic and China’s robot producer DJI Technology showcased their products. Meanwhile, red wine from South Korea and Japan were also on display.
In addition, China-Japan-Korea economic and trade cooperation forum, business leaders’ summit, trilateral roundtable meetings for chambers of commerce and industry of the three countries, as well as B2B business match-making meetings were also held as the sideline events of the Expo.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng noted, the economic and trade cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea have strong vigor and incentives and bear broad outlook for mutual benefits and win-win cooperation. During the China-Japan-ROK leaders’ meeting in Japan in May, 2018, the leaders of the three countries have reached much consensus, created favorable conditions for the deepening of trilateral business cooperation and brought huge business opportunities. CCPIT and CCOIC is willing to collaborate with governments of other countries and relevant trade promotion agencies, provide more supports for the enterprises of the three countries, contributing to the boosting trilateral economic and trade ties and the construction of East Asia Economic Community.
