On 22 January 2019, Mr. HUANG Rengang, the Minister Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Australia, met with Ms. Victoria Anderson, Chief Adviser of The Treasury at Canberra. They exchanged views on foreign investment policies and trends. China has become an important FDI recipient as well as outbound overseas investor to the benefit of local and regional economies. Chinese diplomats Qiu Zhongyi and Wang Fan attended the meeting.
