On October 16, during Premier Li Keeqiang’s visit to Netherlands, Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly held the “2018 China-Netherlands Economic Cooperation Forum.” Premier Li Keqiang and Prime Minister of Netherlands Mark Rutte attended the opening ceremony and made keynote speeches. Minister Zhong Shan and Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Sigrid Kaag delivered speeches respectively. More than 400 representatives from the governments and enterprises of the two countries attended the forum.
Before the forum, witnessed by the leaders of the two countries, the enterprises of the two countries signed 8 cooperation agreements with a total volume reaching about US$ 9.3 billion, covering the sections like energy, finance, aviation and agricultural technology. After the conclusion of the opening ceremony, the enterprises of the two countries had exchanges and discussions on the themes of “high-tech innovation” and “sustainable connectivity.”
