China hopes that the United States could create conditions that are conducive to the economic and trade cooperation and consultation between the two countries, a spokesperson said Monday.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying made the remarks at a regular press briefing.
Hua said the two sides would hold the 12th round of high-level economic and trade consultations as both sides were implementing the consensus reached by the two heads of state on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka.
"We hope that the U.S. side could take concrete measures to implement its commitments," the spokesperson said.
