An air cargo service route was launched Sunday between Xi'an, an ancient Chinese capital known for the Terracotta Warriors Army, and Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, according to the Airport New City in the Xixian new area of Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The service, coded YG9053/9054, is scheduled six times a week by YT Airlines.
Outbound flights will carry products including domestically produced epidemic prevention materials, solar panels and mobile phone accessories to Bangladesh while seafood, fruits and textiles will be shipped back.
The new route will help Shaanxi further tap into the South Asian market and facilitate trade and exchanges between the two sides, according to staff with the Airport New City.
Xi'an had opened 29 all-cargo air routes to 15 cities in China and 11 countries by the end of March.
