According to the watchdog of MOFCOM, last week (November 26-December 2), the national market prices of the edible agricultural products decreased by 0.1% over the previous week and those of the means of production by 1.4%.
In the market of the edible agricultural products: the average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 3.88 yuan per kilogram, down 1.3% over the previous week, with the prices of tomato, chili and lettuce decreasing the most by 8.8%, 7.5% and 7% respectively. The wholesale price of aquatic products continued to drop. Among these, the prices of chub, large hairtail and grass carp decreased the most by 1%, 0.6% and 0.4% respectively over the previous week. The wholesale prices of cereals drop slightly, with the price of rice dropping by 0.6% over last week and that of flour staying unchanged. The wholesale price of poultry decreased in general. Among these, the price of eggs was 9.52 yuan per kilogram, down 1.1% over the previous week and the price of chicken was 16.25 yuan per kilogram, up 0.1%. The wholesale price of edible oil fluctuated slightly. Among these, the price of rapeseed oil and the price of soybean oil decreased by 0.4% and 0.1% respectively over the previous week and the price of peanut oil increased by 0.2%. The wholesale price of meat fluctuated slightly. Among these, the price of pork was 20.86 yuan per kilogram, down 0.4% over last week and the prices of beef and mutton were 55.71 yuan and 55.51 yuan per kilogram respectively, up 0.9% and 0.7% respectively over the previous week.
In the market of production means: the price of steel dropped by 3.2%, among which the prices of high-speed wire rod, screw-thread steel and common middle plate were 4179 yuan, 4104 yuan and 4209 yuan per ton respectively, up 3.8%, 3.6% and 2.7% respectively. The price of basic chemical raw materials dropped by 1.7% over last week, with the prices of methyl alcohol, polypropylene and sulphuric acid down 5%, 4.5% and 0.4% respectively and that of sodium carbonate up 0.9%. The price of non-ferrous metal decreased by 0.7%, with the prices of zinc and aluminum down 2.8% and 1% respectively and that of copper staying unchanged. The price of chemical fertilizer dropped by 0.4%, with that of urea down 0.4% and that of NPK up 0.2%. The price of coal fell by 0.1%, among which the price of steam coal was 609 yuan per ton, down 0.2%, the price of coking coal was 773 yuan per ton, up 0.1% and that of blind coal was 889 yuan per ton, staying unchanged. The price of rubber dropped by 0.1%, with the price of synthetic rubber down 0.6% and that of natural rubber up 0.3%.
