Hebei's first China Europe train to Germany

On April 17, Hebei Province's first China Europe train "Ji Ou" directly connecting to Germany started from Shijiazhuang international land port in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, with a full load of 50 trains, and rushed to Hamburg City, Germany.


It is reported that the "ji'ou" China Europe train (Shijiazhuang Hamburg) line is jointly built by Shijiazhuang international land port and Russian margin group (mg group for short) and consists of 100 standard containers.


The main cargo of this train is machinery accessories, furniture, clothing, electronic products, etc., with a weight of 497 tons and a value of nearly 20 million yuan (RMB). It is expected to arrive in Hamburg, Germany in 18 days through Mongolia, Russia and other four countries.


Ma Yujun, mayor of Shijiazhuang, said that the operation of the train will help promote economic and trade exchanges between Shijiazhuang and the European Unio and make an important contribution to Shijiazhuang's opening up.


Li Jiangna, manager of the international train business department of Shijiazhuang international land port, said that the speed of China Europe trains is faster than that of sea transportation, and the cost is lower than that of air transportation, which has become an increasingly attractive mode of freight transportation between China and Europe.


Wang Bin, chairman of mg group, who has been engaged in import and export business for many years, said that Shijiazhuang international land port is an international land port for Hebei to normally operate China Europe trains. The cooperation with the land port to operate the line from Shijiazhuang to Hamburg in Germany will build a convenient channel for import and export enterprises from Hebei to the hinterland of Europe.


Liu Ruiling, the construction operator of Shijiazhuang international land port and chairman of Yibo Holding Group Co., Ltd., said that the spillover effect of China Europe train of Shijiazhuang international land port is gradually becoming prominent, a number of excellent enterprises are negotiating to settle in the port area, and Shijiazhuang international land port will accelerate the construction of China Europe train Beijing Tianjin Hebei assembly center, B-type bonded logistics center, grain port and other functions, so as to build a high efficiency and cost-effective port It is an international trade channel with low cost and excellent service.


Previously, Shijiazhuang international land port had opened the China Europe trains to Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan, and its collection and distribution capacity and customs clearance efficiency were continuously improved. In 2020, Shijiazhuang international land port will operate 105 trains, which is 708% higher than that of the whole year of 2019, indicating that Shijiazhuang's logistics distribution capacity is rapidly increasing, reflecting the strong demand of Hebei's import and export enterprises.
