MUMBAI, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened sharply lower on Monday as latest voting counts indicated that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is leading in both states (Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh) but with small margin.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 32,722.86, 740.11 points or 2.21 percent down compared to its previous close at 33,462.97.
