HANOI, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam gained 243 million U.S. dollars from exporting products made from rattan, bamboo and sedge, and 418 million U.S. dollars from pottery products in the first 11 months of this year, posting year-on-year rises of 2.5 percent and 7.9 percent respectively, the country's Ministry of Industry and Trade said on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Vietnam earned nearly 6.9 billion U.S. dollars from exporting wood and wood-based products, up 10.5 percent.
Vietnam plans to reap 7.5 billion U.S. dollars from wood and woodwork exports in 2017, and 10 billion U.S. dollars in 2020.
