TOKYO, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks lost ground Friday morning, tracking losses on Wall Street overnight amid concerns that a corporate tax cut in the U.S. may be delayed for one year.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 316.65 points, or 1.38 percent, from Thursday to 22,552.06.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, lost 18.97 points, or 1.05 percent, to 1,794.14.
Rubber product, nonferrous metal and air transportation-linked issues comprised those that declined the most by the morning break.
