TOKYO, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels seen in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.66-67 yen compared with 112.45-55 yen in New York and 112.45-46 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1806-1807 dollars and 133.01-05 yen against 1.1808-1818 dollars and 132.85-95 yen in New York and 1.1793-1795 dollars and 132.62-66 yen in ate Friday afternoon Tokyo.
