Impregnated Melamine paper
melamine impregnated paper is a kind of monochrome paper or wood grain, or stone grain decorative paper with amino melamine resin (melamine formaldehyde resin and urea-formaldehyde resin) after soaking, drying, cutting and other processes.
Regarding the thickness of melamine paper, the commonly used wood grain type paper has 70g/㎡ and 80g/㎡ respectively, and the monochrome paper is commonly used 70g/㎡, 80g/㎡, 90g/㎡ and 100g/㎡, and a paper is about 0.1mm-0.15mm thick.
Melamine paper, which is cost-effective and highly efficient in mass production, is impregnated with melamine resin and has strong adhesive properties, but it requires high pressure and high heat pressing equipment to be laminated to MDF, PLYWOOD, and chipboard substrates. The result is a man-made veneer with beautiful, durable and decorative functions.
