One belt, one road one belt, one Road Youth Green dialogue was held in Beijing in June 25, 2021. The dialogue was held in BRIGC. The aim of this one is to strengthen one belt, one road youth understanding and exchange of global environmental issues, to promote youth participation in the construction of the green silk road, and to enhance the knowledge, ability and level of youth in the field of ecological environmental protection. One belt, one road, China, Pakistan, Jordan, Thailand, Indonesia, Rwanda, Congo (golden) and Sierra Leone, 16 young people representing 100 countries, all participated in the activities.
In his speech, zhouguomei, director of the center for foreign cooperation and exchange of the Ministry of ecological environment, said that youth are an important force to promote green and sustainable development. Young people should strengthen knowledge learning and ability training to make their own contributions to the construction of a community of shared human destiny. Li Lin, global policy director of the world natural foundation (WWF), founder of the International Ecological Development Alliance (EDUI), Professor of Peking University, huanghaifeng attended the event and delivered a speech.
The theme of this activity is "biodiversity conservation and climate action", and young representatives from the center for foreign cooperation and exchange of the Ministry of ecological environment, the National Center for strategic research and international cooperation in response to climate change, the world natural foundation, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the United States Environmental Protection Association (EDF) revolve around the community of ecological civilization and human destiny The global challenges of biodiversity conservation, China's biodiversity conservation experience, biodiversity conservation case practice, global climate governance process review and outlook, and corporate climate change practices were exchanged and shared.
