Vietnam's business daily recently reported that the import and Export Bureau of Vietnam's Ministry of industry and trade quoted the statistics of the International Trade Center (ITC) as saying that in the first 10 months of this year, the United States imported 1.35 million tons of coffee, with an import volume of US $5.72 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 5.2% and 19.7% respectively. In the first 10 months of this year, the United States increased imports from most major suppliers (except Vietnam). The complex epidemic situation in Vietnam leads to transportation difficulties, which is the reason why the United States imports less coffee from Vietnam. According to ITC, in the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam was the third largest coffee supplier in the United States (in terms of quantity), reaching about 118300 tons, with a value of US $228.11 million, with a year-on-year decrease of 15.1% in quantity and 12.3% in value.
