Heavenly-Buddha Tourist Area in Ju’nan
The Heavenly-Buddha Tourist Area is located in the north of the Ju’nan county town. The 3800-meter-long Ju’nan Heavenly Buddha is formed by the rocks of a mountain. His head is in the southwest mountains and his feet are at a clear lake in the northeast. The Buddha has clear facial figures and limbs. The proportion of the Heavenly Buddha’s body quite resembles that of a real human. He is the most realistic reclining Buddha discovered in China and a typical natural combination between mountains and the Buddha.
