The art of Liuqin, also named as “pulling the soul cavity”, was originated in Linyi during the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty and it has a history of nearly three hundred years. In September 1953, Linyi Liuqin Troupe was established and it is the only professional opera performance group in Linyi.
