Linyi’s 13th Five-Year-Plan: “Four Upgrades” in agriculture

Linyi, April 15, 2016 (Linyi China) – In accordance with Linyi’s 13th Five-Year-Plan, it is imperative for Linyi to speed up the modernization of agriculture and develop into a modern and powerful agricultural city. Consequently, new strategy of “Four Upgrades” for agriculture – four advanced goals accelerating the sound development of Linyi’s agriculture -- would be introduced into the development of Linyi’s agriculture in the coming 5 years. In particular, “Four Upgrades” indicates Linyi’s agriculture should grow and performance within the range of enlarged scale, modernization, safety reassurance, and integration.

Modernization -- serious of modern agricultural parks are planned to be constructed during the 13th Five-Year-Plan as following:

Key clusters: Linyi International Agricultural Technological Park; Ju’nan National Agricultural Technological Park; Productive Ecological Agricultural Corridor of Yihe, Suhe, and Benghe River; Lin Tan Cang Grain Production base; etc.

Key projects: Changlin Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park; Luozhuang Peony Garden; Maquan Agricultural Recreational Resort, etc.

Safety reassurance – by tracing to the producer through scanning every unique 2D code tapped on vegetables and fruits, safety of agricultural foods would be guaranteed.

Integration – the peaches will play a significant role in the integration of industrial chains involving process and tourism.

Enlarged scale – based on the sound and rapid growth of agriculture, all-round development should be expanded and pushed ahead in economy.
