Linyi, Dec. 21, 2014 (Linyi China) -- The First Wanghailou Folk Culture Festival was held in Wanghailou Scenic Spot of Tancheng County, Linyi City in East China’s Shandong Province on Dec. 20, 2014.

Featured by Sinology and Folk Culture, the festival attracted thousands of visitors for its spectacular Confucius Memorial Ceremony. Other forms of traditional folk art including the local theatrical forms and the Statue of Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy) also took the spotlight of the festival.
Additionally, Wanghailou Ski Resort was officially opened during the festival.
