August 18, 2017 (Linyi China) — The 13th China International Event Festival (CIEF 2017) opens on August 18 in Linyi City, east China’s Shandong Province. To plan and contrive the development of conference and exhibition for the city, elite groups of practitioners of exhibition industry from home and abroad gathered in Linyi.
In recent years, Linyi has channeling great efforts into the development of conference and exhibition, in return, exhibition economy has become a new economic growth point for Linyi City. In order to accelerate the sound development of conference & exhibition industry, three exhibition galleries have been built up in Linyi: Linyi International Conference & Exhibition Center, Linyi Trade City Conference & Exhibition Center and Linyi International Expo Center. based on these, total area of specialized 200,000 square meters is available to versatile conferences and exhibitions, and 10 professional exhibition brands including China (Linyi) International Trade and Logistics Fair are growing greatly in Linyi. Additionally, 109 exhibitions were held in Linyi during 2016, attracting over 20,000 enterprises along with total turnover of 16.3 billion yuan. Moreover, China (Linyi) International Trade and Logistics Fair was awarded China’s Top Ten Brand Expos, and Linyi ranked 32 among cities listed in National Exhibition Industry Development Index.
