Linyi’s tourism revenue reaches 1.39 billion yuan during Spring Festival

 According to Shandong Tourism Development Commission, Linyi received 2.53 million tourists during the week-long Spring Festival holiday, up 16.2 percent year-on-year. Official data showed the tourists spent 1.39 billion yuan during the holiday ending Wednesday, up 19.1 year-on-year.

Following 10 provincial monitoring tourist areas attracted 1.18 million tourists: Mount Meng Scenic Area, Linyi Zoological & Botanical Garden, Yunpu Cave in Fei County, Tianmeng Scenic Area, Guantang Spring in Hedong District, Red Stone Village in Yinan County, Zhuquancun Scenic Are, National Agriculture Garden in Lanling County, Underground Ravines in Yishui County, and Tiandihe Leisure Farm in Quanzhuang Town, Yishui Couty.     

Tourists spent 38.74 million yuan on tickets for those ten tourist attractions, and 23.44 million yuan on shopping for tourism. Growing tourist arrivals and mounting revenue boosted the development of tourism industry of Linyi, and contributed a lot to stimulate consumption and expand inner demand for Linyi City.
