Since the beginning of this year, the city's economy has continued the trend of rapid recovery since the second half of last year, and maintained a high growth rate. In the first quarter, the city's fiscal revenue achieved a "good start".

It is understood that with the recovery of economic growth and the accelerated implementation of various income increasing policies, the city's fiscal revenue made a good start in the first month, reaching 5.9 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6%. Since February, fiscal revenue has continued to rise rapidly, with the growth rate jumping to 22.1% from January to February, ranking the top in the province. In the first quarter, the city's general public budget revenue reached 11.6 billion yuan, an increase of 25.8%, ranking second in the province. From the perspective of counties and districts, the average growth rate of counties and districts was 30.5%, all counties and districts achieved double-digit growth, and the growth rate of 11 counties and districts was more than 20%.

Financial and taxation departments at all levels strive to improve the quality of financial operation, continuously optimize the structure of fiscal revenue, and pay more attention to improving the quality of revenue while maintaining the rapid growth of revenue. The city's tax revenue reached 9.96 billion yuan, an increase of 34%. The proportion of tax revenue in the general public budget revenue was 85.8%, 5.3 percentage points higher than that of the same period last year, ranking first in the province.

In the first quarter, the city's general public budget expenditure reached 21.08 billion yuan, an increase of 19.6%, maintaining a rapid progress of financial expenditure. Expenditure on people's livelihood reached 17.18 billion yuan, an increase of 22.2%, accounting for 81.5% of the city's financial expenditure. Among them, health expenditure, education expenditure, social security and employment expenditure, science and technology expenditure and energy conservation and environmental protection expenditure increased by 12.7%, 23.6%, 41.9%, 45.4% and 55.2% respectively.
