According to Linyi Customs statistics, from January to May this year, the city’s total foreign trade import and export value was 52.93 billion yuan, an increase of 67.7% over the same period last year. Among them, exports were 45.42 billion yuan, an increase of 74.9%; imports were 7.51 billion yuan, an increase of 34.2%; the trade surplus was 37.91 billion yuan, an increase of 86.1%. In May, imports and exports amounted to 12.66 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 62.2% and a month-on-month increase of 11.1%. Among them, exports were 11.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67.8% and a month-on-month increase of 12.5%; imports were 1.49 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.8% and a month-on-month increase of 1.9%.
From January to May this year, market procurement exports were 20.94 billion yuan, an increase of 162.5%, accounting for 46.1% of the total export value, an increase of 15.4 percentage points. In addition, the import and export of Linyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone was 6.49 billion yuan, an increase of 154.4%, of which exports were 3.81 billion yuan, an increase of 469%, and imports were 2.68 billion yuan, an increase of 42.4%.
