Linyi ranks 12th in China by 2020 China urban exhibition industry development index

On June 24, the reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of commerce that in the ranking of "China's urban exhibition industry development comprehensive index" released by the China Convention and Exhibition Economic Research Association of the Ministry of Commerce, our city has risen abruptly and its ranking has risen rapidly. In 2020, the index ranks 12th in China and 3rd in the province, only next to Qingdao and Jinan. From 2016 to 2019, our city ranked 33rd, 26th, 23rd and 19th in China respectively, and the ranking improved steadily.

     At the same time, with the data of 80 exhibitions and a total exhibition area of 1.568 million square meters in 2020, our city ranks 13th in the national urban exhibition area. In addition, Linyi International Convention and Exhibition Center ranks fifth in the utilization rate of national exhibition venues in 2020.

     In recent years, under the correct leadership of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, the city's exhibition economy has been booming, the exhibition quality has been steadily improved, the market order has been further standardized, the comprehensive competitiveness has been significantly enhanced, and the main indicators are firmly in the forefront of the province. In the first half of this year, the exhibition economy continued to improve. From January to may, the city held 60 kinds of exhibition activities, including auto supplies exhibition, solar energy exhibition, whole house customized exhibition, etc., with 29800 booths, a total exhibition area of 596000 square meters, and realized a trade volume of 9.63 billion yuan.
