On September 28, 2018, the city started to resolve the problems left over by the history of real estate registration. Since the beginning of the work, there have been 602 projects to solve the historical problems of housing property rights of urban residents in the city, involving 465700 households. So far, 464 historical problems of housing property rights of urban residents have been resolved, benefiting 417300 households, with a completion rate of 89%. Among them, the work in the central urban area started relatively early and achieved remarkable results. According to statistics, 211 projects involving 299200 households with historical problems of housing property rights of urban residents have been sorted out in the past two years. So far, 187 problem projects have been resolved, benefiting 275000 households, with a completion rate of 91%. In recent years, the number of letters and visits from the masses caused by the difficulty of handling certificates has decreased significantly, which has been widely praised by the broad masses of the people.

According to the requirements of provinces and cities, before the end of 2021, the city will increase the resolution rate of 602 projects with historical problems in real estate registration to more than 95%. On the morning of August 4, the municipal government issued several opinions on accelerating the settlement of historical problems of real estate registration (hereinafter referred to as "several opinions") and the implementation plan for the pilot work of "smart registration" of real estate in Linyi City (hereinafter referred to as "implementation plan")《 The main contents of several opinions are divided into four parts: General requirements, scope of application, resolution measures and work requirements. The pilot work of "smart registration" of real estate in our city is carried out within the scope of real estate registration at the municipal level (Lanshan District, Hedong District, Luozhuang District, economic development zone, high tech Zone and Lingang District), and other counties are encouraged to organize the implementation with reference to the implementation plan.
