Preferential certificates of origin give play to the "paper gold" effect and effectively reduce and exempt tariffs for foreign trade enterprises in our city. Recently, the reporter learned from CCPIT that from January to July, there were 2513 registered enterprises in the CCPIT certification system, 10360 general certificates of origin were issued, and the visa amount was US $774984300, an increase of 10.87% and 28.10% respectively year-on-year; 1386 preferential certificates of origin were issued, with a visa amount of US $46.1232 million, a year-on-year increase of 64.41% and 82.48% respectively. According to the average tariff preference of 5% of the importing country (region), the tariff reduction and exemption for the other enterprise is about RMB 16.1819 million.
As an important wind vane of foreign trade economic development, certification data is not only an important basis for the government to manage the economy, monitor the market and guide innovation and entrepreneurship, but also provides an effective way for producers, operators and foreign trade exporters to understand the market and make correct decisions because of its accuracy and universality. Through the analysis of the data of preferential certificates of origin of exporting RCEP member countries, from January to July, CCPIT issued 768 preferential certificates of origin for enterprises exporting RCEP member countries, accounting for 55.41% of the total number of preferential certificates from January to July, a year-on-year increase of 38.13%, and the visa amount was USD 26.4959 million, accounting for 57.45% of the total amount of preferential certificates from January to July, a year-on-year increase of 31.79%. Among them, the number of ASEAN preferential certificates of origin issued is higher than that of China and South Korea, and the top five visas are Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The main export products are plywood, labor protection products, textiles, shoes and hats, hardware and building materials, machinery, small commodities, etc.
