In order to help foreign trade enterprises in Lanshan district make good use of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP) and cross-border e-commerce platform and further expand the scale of trade with RCEP countries, Lanshan District People's government and Linyi Customs jointly held a special training meeting on the interpretation of RCEP policies in the whole region on the afternoon of February 24. The meeting was presided over by Li Zhaoguo, deputy head of Lanshan District People's government, and Guan Kaige, member of the Party committee and deputy director of Linyi customs, attended and delivered a speech. More than 100 business leaders from all towns, streets and Lanshan economic development zone and representatives of foreign trade entrepreneurs participated in the training.
At the meeting, Linyi customs experts systematically expounded the overall situation of RCEP agreement, service trade, certificate of origin rules, enterprise opportunities and so on. In addition, the training meeting also invited the heads of Amazon, Alibaba and 333 cross-border e-commerce platforms to conduct in-depth explanations on how to use cross-border e-commerce platforms to strengthen foreign economic and trade cooperation. Students have said that they have learned and benefited a lot, which is of positive significance to promote foreign trade enterprises in the region to seize RCEP opportunities and realize the innovative development of foreign trade.
