Fujian will promote the construction of overseas cooperation zones

Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce reported on June 22 that Fujian put forward 28 action plans in ten aspects, such as the expansion of trade in goods, investment promotion and efficiency, and the expansion of Fujian businessmen to the sea, so as to seize the opportunity, deepen economic and trade cooperation with member countries of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP), promote Fujian's higher-level opening to the outside world, better serve and integrate into the new development pattern, and promote high-quality development.

Fujian Province is a major foreign trade province. Last year, the total import and export of goods reached 1403.57 billion yuan. In terms of expanding trade in goods, Fujian will expand trade in consumer goods, mechanical and electrical products and aquatic products, guide consumer goods enterprises with traditional advantages such as textiles, shoes and clothing, bags and ceramics, give play to Fujian's regional advantages of connecting the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, connecting both sides of the Strait, build a production and supply and marketing base of consumer goods, and form China's consumer goods and its raw and auxiliary materials Processing equipment and other whole industry chain products distribution base. Accelerate the adjustment and upgrading of product structure and continuously enhance international competitiveness.

In terms of investment attraction and efficiency increase, Fujian focuses on the world's top 500 RCEP member countries, industry leading enterprises and overseas Chinese funded enterprises, focuses on the construction of Fujian's industrial system and 100 billion industrial clusters, carries out investment attraction for new generation information technology, high-end equipment, semiconductors and equipment, biomedicine, new energy, new materials, marine high-tech and other industrial chains, and introduces more fixed chains, complementary chains Strong chain of high-quality leading projects.

RCEP will become a strong driving force for Fujian businessmen to go to sea. Fujian will guide and promote industries with production capacity advantages such as metallurgy, building materials, shoes and clothing manufacturing and food processing to carry out foreign investment in an orderly manner, optimize the layout of production and manufacturing links, and improve the ability of sustainable development. Actively support engineering design, consulting, construction and other enterprises to participate in the infrastructure construction of RCEP Member States and expand the overseas project contracting market.

Fujian will promote the construction of overseas cooperation zones. Fujian officials said that using RCEP investment guarantee arrangements, focusing on RCEP member countries with good business environment and cooperation foundation, they supported powerful enterprises to take the lead in building a number of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones with clear leading industries and perfect public supporting facilities, so as to provide a good carrier platform for enterprises in the Province to go global and gather for development.

Relying on the advantages of overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese, Fujian will actively connect with the national "Silk Road e-commerce" cooperation mechanism, give play to the demonstration and driving role of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test zone, and explore and promote industrial parks and enterprises in Fujian Province to improve overseas warehousing, logistics and after-sales service system in RCEP member countries through co construction, self construction of overseas industrial parks and overseas warehouses. Support financial institutions to develop financial products for overseas warehouses, continuously extend cross-border e-commerce industrial chain and supply chain services, and integrate into the commercial circulation network of Member States.
