On the morning of July 12 local time in Moscow, the first tunnel of the large shield project of the east section of the third transfer ring line of China Railway Construction Moscow Metro was opened, marking the smooth opening of the first large-diameter shield construction tunnel of Chinese enterprises in Europe.

The total length of the project is 2.677 km. The project adopts the 10.88m large diameter shield machine "Shengli" independently developed by China railway construction, which is the largest diameter shield machine exported to Europe by China at present, and is tailored for construction under cold environment conditions in winter in Russia. Its muck transportation system is equipped with 22 layer super storage belt warehouse, which drives Chinese equipment into the European market.

During the construction period, the project department organized and prepared a special construction safety technical scheme suitable for its geological conditions and the mechanical performance of large shield machine with reference to the subway construction experience of China and Russia. Zero settlement is achieved when it passes through Moscow and is built in the colomeskoye manor, an ancient wooden building in the 15th century; The rubber tyred locomotive is used to transport auxiliary materials for tunnel construction, which effectively avoids the risk of car sliding accident caused by excessive design slope; By optimizing the construction organization mode, the maximum monthly driving mileage is 433.8m. In order to actively respond to overseas epidemic situations, the project department has formulated scientific epidemic prevention measures. Measure the body temperature of on-site construction personnel twice a day, strengthen ventilation and disinfection in the tunnel, and regularly organize nucleic acid detection to ensure the health and safety of project employees.

The tunnel was opened, and the Chinese and Russian builders showed their determination and strength to fight the epidemic hand in hand and ensure the smooth implementation of the project, laying a good foundation for practical cooperation between China and Russia in the field of subway construction.
