The data also showed that in June, the export volume of EU goods trade was 188.3 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%; The import volume was 173.5 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 29.6%. Over the same period, the export volume of goods trade in the euro area was 209.9 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%; The import volume was 191.8 billion euros, a year-on-year increase of 28.2%.

In 2020, the trade in goods between the EU and China grew in both directions against the trend of the epidemic, and China replaced the United States as the largest trading partner of the EU for the first time.
