The 3rd Dubai New Energy Conference focuses on China-Arab green cooperation

Xinhua News Agency, Dubai, October 30 (Reporter Zhao Danliang) The third Dubai New Energy Conference was held in Dubai on the 29th. More than 300 political and business representatives from China, the UAE and other countries discussed the practice and vision of China-UAE new energy cooperation.

Zhu Lian, counselor in charge of economic and commercial affairs of the Chinese Embassy in the UAE, said that both China and the UAE attach great importance to green transformation and development, and strengthening cooperation in the field of new energy has become an important consensus between the two sides. It is expected that China and the UAE will continue to work together to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for the benefit of the people of both countries.

Hamad, head of Dubai Alishan Free Zone, introduced Dubai's vision for sustainable development, as well as the development of clean renewable energy, reduction of carbon emissions and popularization of electric vehicles at the meeting, and expressed his expectation to strengthen cooperation with Chinese companies.

The conference was hosted by China Building Materials International Middle East and North Africa Company. At the meeting, representatives of many Chinese companies introduced their respective practices in green energy conservation. China Building Materials International Middle East and North Africa Company signed cooperation agreements with 6 companies including Total Energy Dubai Company.
