The 2018 Guatemala-China Trade & Investment Forum, an important sideline event of the 2018 Guatemala-PRC Trade Exposition, was held in Guatemala City on September 6.
The forum, hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), aimed at fostering cooperation between China and Guatemala in infrastructure, trade, investment, etc.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Wei made three proposals for expanding China-Guatemala trade and investment. First, China will promote Guatemala to further expand exports to China. Second, both sides shall enhance cooperation in tourism. Last but not least, the two sides will further develop cross-border e-commerce.
