China-ASEAN Business Leaders Forum was held in Nanning on September 12. Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chen Zhou attended and addressed the forum. More than 200 business delegates from China and ASEAN countries were in attendance.
Chen Zhou noted, this year’s forum aimed at promoting connectivity and economic integration between China and ASEAN countries. Chen called for CCPIT and ASEAN business community to play its role of bilateral and multilateral mechanism to set up economic and trade platforms, enhance connectivity and deepen cooperation. CCPIT is willing to match with relevant trade and investment promotion agencies of ASEAN countries to better serve enterprises of both sides.
Meanwhile, a MoU of Formation of China-ASEAN Federation of Forwarders Association (AFFA) Multimodal Transport was signed. Also signed was the launch of Connectivity Alliance and China-ASEAN Supply Chain Management Platform for Agricultural Products. ASEAN Service Center for China Association for Small & Medium Commercial Enterprises was also launched at the forum.
