The first Belt and Road New Economy Development Forum was held in Nanning on September 13. Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended and addressed the forum.
Chen Zhou said, for the past 15 years, the economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries have achieved progress. Trade and investment between the two sides has witnessed rapid growth. The business community of the two sides is having more opportunities with the continuous deepening of the Belt and Road construction. New economy is one of the opportunities. CCPIT is willing to cooperate with business communities of ASEAN countries to establish more trade and investment promotion platforms, and provide more professional services, contributing to boosting the economy of China and ASEAN countries, especially in the field of new economy.
Themed at “New Situation, New Challenge, New Opportunity”, this forum invited about 350 business delegates from China and ASEAN countries.
