Chairperson of CCPIT Gao Yan met with Vice President of CCI Paris ILE-DE-FRANCE Alain Eygreteau in Paris on October 25.
Alain said, China has made remarkable achievements in development since its reform and opening up 40 years ago. The “Belt and Road” Initiative that Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed created unprecedented opportunities for global economic development. CCI Paris ILE-DE-FRANCE hopes to gain comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the “Belt and Road” Initiative and is looking forward to participating into “Belt and Road” construction. The Chamber is willing to join hands with CCPIT to create better conditions, build more platforms and provide better services for Chinese and French businesses, especially the SMEs, to collaborate under the “Belt and Road” framework.
Gao Yan noted, CCI Paris ILE-DE-FRANCE is strong and influential in Europe and has been maintaining a good partnership with CCPIT. Over the past 40 years since the reform and opening up policy was carried out, China has been developing by leaps and bounds, bringing dividends to world economic development. Over the past five years, the “Belt and Road” Initiative has been translated into actions and practices, becoming a public product widely popular among the international community. CCPIT will work together with CCI Paris ILE-DE-FRANCE in interpreting “Belt and Road” policies in an effort to expand cooperation between Chinese and French businesses under the “Belt and Road” framework, create more cooperation opportunities, yield more fruits and benefit people from both countries.
Also present at the meeting are heads of CCPIT Department of Development Research and International Relations.
