Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shenfeng met with Salvador Sanchez Ceren, President of El Salvador in San Salvador on November 22. Both sides further exchanged practical economic and trade cooperation between China and El Salvador. Chinese ambassador to El Salvador Ou Jianhong attended the meeting.
Zhang Shenfeng said, the visit aimed at finalizing the cooperation consensus achieved between Chinese and El Salvador presidents. The bilateral economic and trade cooperation would be further enhanced through the El Salvador-PRC trade exposition.
Sanchez hailed the trade exposition as the fifth of its kind held in El Salvador. He said El Salvador hoped CCPIT set up more exchange and cooperation platforms to attract Chinese investment, expand export to China, foster bilateral economic and trade cooperation and assist El Salvador in elevating economy and employment rate.
