Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Lu Pengqi met with Mr. Loh Ka Leung, Singaporean ambassador to China in Changsha on November 28. Both sides exchanged views on how to enhance Sino-Singaporean commercial legal cooperation.
Lu met Mr. Leung as the latter attended the 2018 International Commercial Legal Cooperation Forum in Changsha.
Lu Pengqi said, as a friendly neighboring country and important cooperation partner, Singapore further participated in China’s reform and opening up. Boasting well-developed economy, open market and huge development potentials, Singapore is an important economy among the Belt and Road countries. CCPIT is willing to foster cooperation with Singapore’s relevant departments to provide more comprehensive and professional commercial legal services.
Mr. Leung said, Singapore attaches great importance to foster exchanges and cooperation with Chinese legal community. Singaporean embassy is willing to cooperate with CCPIT in arbitration and mediation, providing legal support for the Belt and Road construction.
