The photo exhibition of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia with the theme of "Joining Hands for Win-Win Cooperation" opened in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia on the 19th.
The exhibition selecs 100 historical photos to vividly show the important moments of the exchanges between the two countries. The photo exhibition is co-organized by Xinhua News Agency and the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, and strongly supported by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia. The exhibition is divided into two parts: "Footprints of History" and "China-Malaysia Relations in the New Era", which comprehensively show the fruitful results of exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy, culture and sports since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia 50 years ago. At the exhibition site, precious historical photos of Xinhua News Agency are accompanied by bilingual explanations in Chinese and English, forming a multi-faceted photo wall, like a historical scroll slowly unfolding, attracting representatives from all walks of life in the two countries to stop and watch.
Majid, president of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, said that for the older generation, the photo exhibition reminds people of the unremitting efforts made by the leaders of Malaysia and China for the relationship between the two countries, reflecting the deep friendship between the people of the two countries; for the younger generation, the exhibition will allow them to have a deeper understanding of the benefits that the current Malaysia-China relationship brings to the people of the two countries."We have seen the achievements made by Malaysia and China in mutual trust, as well as the fruitful cooperation results in various fields such as economy and trade. Looking to the future, I believe that the relationship between the two countries will continue to improve and expand to a higher level." He said.
